This is awesome for travelers with smartphones! Mifi for travelers. Check out MifiClub.

Why should I join MifiClub?
You should join MifiClub if you enjoy internet access on your smartphone, laptop and other mobile devices when you’re travelling. And if you hate excessive roaming charges or the problems associated with normal wifi such as price, availability, and security.

Aircruises are cool

It’s a bit off the mobile topic but this is so cool. Theoretically, it could ferry 100 people from London to New York in a leisurely 37 hours or from Los Angeles to Shanghai in just under four days.

HulloMail – Voicemail to Email

I just found out about this service. It’s a great way to get your voicemails while you’re on holiday, and not have to pay roaming to hear them. I remember when I was in Germany last week, I got several voicemails that I never bothered to listen to because I didn’t want to pay roaming to hear it. This is a very cool service I just started using today.

Timeout Travel App

My friend recommended Timeout’s iPhone app for London. The magazine is the most popular and definitive guide on what to do in London and their app comes just as highly recommended. The magazine costs £2.99 but the app is free!

Travel Guide London iPhone App

It’s useful because it has all the great places to see in London, including video and audio content. It’s a great way to preview a place before deciding to go there. It also has 8 video-guided walks which is integrated with Google Maps. Following its walks is a great way to go on a tour of London. This is very much a guide that leads you around to places rather …

iPhone Travel Guide London Web App

If you have internet while traveling to London, you should get this free amazing iPhone Web App. It even has audio commentary. If not I recommend getting this London Audio Guide.
This turns your iPhone or iPod touch into your own personal tour guide, including full audio commentary. The guide will help you plan your trip to London by showing you what to see and do, including opening times, entry prices and plenty of photographs. The guide then helps you make the most of your visit by telling you entertaining stories …
